Grand Piece Online (GPO) Update 8 Log and Patch Notes - Try Hard Guides (2024)

Roblox GPO Update 8 is being released on June 18th, 2023! In this patch, you will find a wide-variety of changes and bug fixes have been added to the experience. These will hopefully help clear up any issues you may have had and allow you to find some new stuff to do in the game.

If any new codes are added, you can find them on our Grand Piece Online Codespage! The below patch notes were released via this Google Document, and have been slightly reformatted. You can also learn more about the game via the GPO Trello.

NEW MAX BOUNTY: 1,250,000

    • Requires at least 2 people to start

  • ARE ONLY GIVEN AFTER SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING THE RAID
  • Legendary Fruit Chest to the top 3 damage dealers

    • Legendary Fruit Chest for the mvp who did most damage to the core
    • Rare Fruit Chest for everyone that did at least 5% damage to the core

• CYBORG
  • Located in 2nd sea
  • Cyborg gears are required to learn every skill
    • Dropped from the factory raid
  • Cyborg color is customizable in the main menu
  • Cyborg has 17 different variants
  • Cyborgs can choose between 3 different upgrades after getting all skills
    • Each upgrade costs different amount of cyborg gears

NEW CUSTOM GRIPS [DEATH EFFECTS]

• COSTS
  • Located in the trade hub
  • 1 random grip is 50,000 peli
  • 10 random grips is 500 robux
  • Getting a duplicate grip after having 10 of them will give back 10,000 peli
• Can hold a max of 10 copies of every grip
  • Grips are permanent it’s just you can have multiple of the same ones for trading
  • Currently there are17custom grips
  • Some of them can also be obtained as a boss drop

  • Mochi Barrage longer CD ( 13 > 18 )
  • Mochi Buzzcut DMG scaling increased
  • Damage Reduction when hit by Mochi Buzzcut from outside sources ( same as yami )
  • Removed Player Regen during Mochi Buzzcut
• Tori ( i ran out of things to say )
  • Tori Barrage Stamina drain increased by 25%, Stun increased by 25%
  • Triple Kick hitbox nerfed, Stun increased so each kick is now true to each other
  • Phoenix Burst now easier to aim, slight increase to hitbox
  • Nerfed burn damage scaling
  • Fixed Tori regen bar for all sources of damage
  • Tori has a new mode bar instead of draining stamina in mode
  • Max is 90 seconds of mode

• Demon Spectrum initial cost increased ( 35 > 65 ), Longer CD, Decreased DMG scaling by 20%

• Has a mode bar instead of stamina drain now

ITEMS

• Fear procs 25% DMG increase to all damage taken by target for 3 seconds

• Slayer Cross Slash hyper armor removed
• Slayer Cross Slash increased AOE to match VFX
• Iceborn Rapier
• Iceborn Shard scaling lowered by 25%

• Heavy Sweep now has longer stun ( .25 > .40 ) now combo extends.

• Lowered DMG scaling on both skills

• Decimation stun increased by 10%

MISC

• All bosses now have a better health display
• Quests now have a npc indicator if you are close enough. Should be alot easier to track NPCs in big fights
• Ken Haki no longer stuns while dodging attacks
• Changes were made to the trading system for update 8
  • First time you load in will take a while for everything to process
• Reduced first sea Haki quest from 100 yetis to 50
• Capped the max amount of legendary chests to 15, if you have over 15 you will still keep the rest but can’t get anymore.
• BATTLE ROYALE
• REQUIRES ROBLOX ID VERIFICATION INORDER TO QUEUE
  • “Verification includes, but isn’t limited to, non-VOIP phone number or government ID verification.”
  • If you somehow can’t verify your account on roblox, you can still queue if you have a All Seeing Eye in your inventory

  • Buso Haki lasts forever now
  • Made recovering from getting knocked 50% faster
  • Instead of gripping someone for a healthpack you will get the healthpack after knocking someone. (the person that did the most damage in the past 30 seconds will get it and there is a cooldown)

  • Made picking up items 2x faster
  • Battle royale now has 2 random lucky zones
    • New map
• New running and walking animations
• Some of the capes now move with character
• Mink race features have been changed for some

• Fixed karoo racing
• Fixed being able to drink pots and grip at the same time
• Fixed being able to block and grip at the same time
• Fixed golden staff transformation with Goro
